学生学习的特点摘要：PURPOSE:To automate the attaching of a bead and the folding of a ply and to uniformalize the products, by providing a bead supporting gment with a movable piece capable of moving axially outwardly the bead together with a tool head with the bead forced against the ply. CONSTITUTION:The ply 28 is wound around a dry 27, and the ply end is folded inwardly to be forced to engage with the drum side surface. The bead supporting gment 22 is moved toward the drum to force the bead 29 against the ply 28. The tool head 16 is moved axially outwardly to force a ply edge 28a against the gment 22, and at the same time, the tool head 16 is diameterally enlarged to force the ply edge 28a against the bead 29. While the bead 29 is kept forced by the supporting gment 22, the tool head 16 is moved, and the movable piece 24 is retreated axially outwardly. After the supporting gment 22 is moved away from the ply ction, the tool head 16 is diameterally enlarged to fold the ply edge 28a.
