阅读下面的短文, 完成下面的任务。     A new study finds people in big cities walking faster than before. Is the pace (节奏) of life in our cities increasing? Yes, according to a recent study. Last year rearchers visited 32 cities and measured how fast people walked. They timed adults to e how long it took them to walk 18 meters along the sidewalk.      Rearchers found that walking speed today is about 10 percent faster than ten years ago. They also learned that some of the biggest changes took place in Asian cities like Singapore and Guanzhou. The two cities had the largest increa in walking speed. Nowadays, over half of people in the world live in cities.
