摘要：A gathering controlling apparatus controls an automatic wing machine in which the gathering amount is variable in such a manner that the differential amount is corrected for each wing ction in correspondence with the change in contractibility, thereby allowing a wing operation with a proper gathering amount. The invention may, for example, be employed for a sleeving operation. Sewing data is automatically read from a paper pattern. Sewing data is automatically calculated from the read data or the data read from the paper pattern beforehand. From the calculated wing operation data, gathering amounts are respectively distributed to desired regions along the circumference of a sleeve. Each distributed gathering amount is controlled for each switch and is further differentially varied in accordance with the cloth quality and the bias. Moreover, the differential amount is displayed.
