　　感恩节餐桌的布置也很有特色。主妇们不是照往常一样摆放鲜花，而是摆放水果和蔬菜。中间还常常放上一个大南瓜，周围堆放些苹果、玉米和干果。有时人们还把苹果或南瓜掏空，中间放满去壳的干果或者点燃蜡烛。平时，女主人可以在饭后把客人让到客厅里，但在感恩节却不这样做。感恩节的聚餐是甜美的，每个人都愿意在饭桌旁多呆一会儿，他们一边吃一边愉快地回忆往事，直到最后一根蜡烛燃尽。

　　 感恩节习俗： 吃红莓苔子果酱

　　Cranberry小红莓是感恩节的一个象征性的食品，小小的红色果实口味略酸，但做成果酱非常的爽口，酸甜怡人。在感恩节前后，家家户户都热衷于做口味各异的红莓苔子果酱，那酸甜的味道最适合出现在一家团聚的感恩晚餐上了。

　　 感恩节习俗： 吃南瓜馅饼

　　它基本上已成为美国的国菜了，是除了火鸡之外感恩晚餐桌上不可缺少的主食。用黄油和蜂蜜烤制的南瓜馅饼口味酥脆，香味浓郁。很多小孩子也都很喜欢。根据口味的不同，也可加加入臻仁、坚果、奶酪等。

　　此外还有甜山芋、蔬菜沙拉、南瓜布丁、布朗尼糕点等。
