In China, Planting Trees Day is on March 12th. This

special day began in 1979. On that day, people can plant

many trees. And if we plant trees more, we must also take

care of the trees by watering them until they grow upto be

strong. In different countries, Planting Trees Days are on

different days. Like in India, Planting Trees Day is on

July 1st.

在中国，植树节是3月12日。这个特殊的节日是从1979年开

始的。在那天，人们要种许多的树。如果我们种了许多的树木，我

们就必须照顾好它们，按时浇水，直到它们茁壮成长。不同的国家

里，植树节的日期也不同。例如印度，植树节是7月1日。

Why do the people plant trees? It is very easy. Becau

they want to protect the environment. There are many people

who want to earn the money formonly cutting down trees. So

more and more trees are cut by them. But kind people want

to protect the environment and make the air clean. So they

plant trees as many as they can.

为什么人们要植树?这很简单。因为他们想要保护环境。现在有

很多想要通过砍伐树木挣钱的人，因此，为了金钱利益，越来越多

的树会被他们砍伐。但是善良人们想要保护环境、使空气更清新，

因此他们会尽他们最大的努力来植树。

All the actions show that people should pay more

attention to theenvironment. We want to make it better,

don’t we? So we must plant more trees to protect the

environment. 这些所有的行为都展示出人们应该更好的保护环境。

Arbor Day is a holiday in which individuals and groups

are encouraged to plant and care for trees. Many countries

now obrve a similar holiday. Though usually obrved in

the spring, the date varies, depending on climate and
