一、课型：听说课

二、教学资源分析

本单元以意外事件为话题，以陈述过去的事件为交际功能，重点在语境中

学习和运用过去完成时，同时复习时间状语从句。

本课讲的是Section B ( 1a~1e)有关愚人节的听说板块，就别人的恶作剧和

愚人节进行讨论，来激活关于愚人节的词汇、句型，帮助学生学会运用听力策

略去听读课文、理解课文，并且在听、说的过程中达到语言输出的目的。

三、学情分析

九年级是整个初中阶段的重要一年面临中考的升学压力。学生在心理上、

学习上各方面都发生了很大变化，学生差异会出现明显的分化，因而在教学面

向全体学生的基础上更要注重分层教学，充分调动每个学生学习英语的积极

性。同时，九年级学生有升学的迫切需求，学习目的目的性明确，好奇心强，

可以充分利用他们的特点，设置不同层次的“任务”的形式组织教学活动，让

学生通过“用语言做事情”来学习和使用英语。同时，运用活动教学法，让学

生在活动中自主地完成任务，从而提高学生自主解决问题的能力和语言的综合

运用能力，进而提高英语成绩。

四、教学目标：

知识目标：

1、能够掌握重点词汇和短语：fool, costume, realize, call, embarrasd,

empty, tired, show up, stay up, go off, get dresd…

2、能够掌握重点句型：I had stayed up all night studying；I found out that my

friend had fooled me；I felt embarrasd/ unhappy…

3、能力目标:

1、教会学生听前预测，听关键词等听力策略，提高学生的听力能力。

2、通过学习有关愚人节活动的表达方式让学生们可以在情境中运用所学讲

述过去发生的事情，提高学生的语言交际能力。

情感态度价值观目标: 了解西方愚人节的常识。

五、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：1) 扎实掌握与愚人节有关的重点词汇、短语。

2) 帮助学生自主运用听力策略，提高听力水平。

2. 教学难点：在听、说的过程中实现对目标语言-------过去完成时的输出。

六、教学过程：

1、Lead- in

Watch a short video and guess “What are people doing”, then ask questions to

lead to the topic “April Fool’s Day”. Such as: “Have you ever played jokes on others?

Or have you ever been fooled by others? ”, “How did you feel? ”

Task 1: Ask students to put words in the correct columns in the chart. Ask three

students to write them on the blackboard.

Task 2: Competition: add more words about April Fool’s Day to each column.

Students from each group go the blackboard one by one, and each student can only

write down one word. See which group finishes the best.

设计目的：播放有关愚人节的小视频，通过问题引入愚人节的主题，使课堂气

氛更活跃。同时，通过学生自主学习和补充有关愚人节的词汇并熟悉掌握它们

的分类，为后文听力和语言输出做好前期准备；在学习过程中使用小组竞赛的

模式，调动学生学习英语的积极性。

2、Before listening

Task 3: Prediction: ask students to predict what may Dave、Nick and Joe talk

about according to four pictures.

设计目的：通过对图片预测，调动学生进行思考大致了解听力材料的内容，让

学生形成心理预设，降低听力的难度。

3、While listening

Task 4: ask students to listen for the key words and get the main idea, and

students don’t have to listen for every word.

Read and check: read Dave’s, Nick’s and Joe’s dialogues respectively, and find

out the key words in the listening material. Then check the answers together.

设计目的：以表格配有图片的形式让学生清楚在听中需要抓住的重点词汇。此

外，通过让学生分组朗读和找出文中重点词汇，让学生加深巩固听力材料。训

练学生掌握听力策略，提高学生的听力水平。

4、Post listening

Task 5: Fill in the blanks: give students 3 minutes to discuss the answers with

their partners; then read the dialogue to have a better understanding of the dialogue.

设计目的：中考链接，重组对话改成七选五对话形式，并让学生通过自己的理

解对文中缺少部分填空，既是对学生听力材料掌握水平的测试，又是针对中考

补全对话这一题型的训练。在训练过程中，通过小组讨论和分角色朗读的模

式，让学生主动参与到活动中来，以期达到在玩中学的效果。

Task 6: Talk about your funny stories: watch a short video about funny stories

happened on April Fool’s Day; then give students key words and ntence and ask

students to work in group and talk about their own stories( give them 5 minutes to

prepare).

设计目的：通过观看愚人节的视频，让同学们发散思维帮助回想自己身上

的一些有趣的愚人节把戏，调动学生的学习氛围。再列举本节课的一些中的词

汇、短语和句型，帮助学生语言输出。

6、Homework

1. Write an unexpected experience of yours on April Fool’s Day.

2. Search more information about April Fool’s Day on the Internet.

设计目的：在课堂上对学生进行语言输入的基础上，通过设计一系列的任务帮

助他们进行语言输出；并通过课后写作检验学生对重点单词、短语及句型的掌

握，加深巩固课堂知识。作业二让学生上网搜索愚人节的有关信息，让学生进

一步了解西方文化---愚人节，并且为下节阅读课做好铺垫。
