子刊作为双语读物，《遇见未知的自己》让英语学习变得轻松有趣，在阅读中潜移默化地学习。原文中的“单词速记营”——选择常用的，并且有一定难度的单词加以解释，使阅读更加流畅，同时也能扩充词汇量；“记忆填空”——阅读原文后，回忆文章内容，将适当的词语填入空白处，加深记忆，训练英语语感；“佳句翻译”——选出译文中的经典句子，尝试翻译成英文，提高英文的整体运用能力；“短语应用”——列出文中出现过的英语短语与例句，利用短语造句，灵活运用。

作者介绍

吴文智，笔名兆彬，南京师范大学外国语学院《江苏外语教学研究》杂志主编，研究员，中国译协专家会员，中国译协理事，江苏省译协秘书长，从事翻译与翻译研究三十余年。2009年获得“江苏省建国六十年来外国语言文学与翻译研究优秀成果”特别贡献奖。

方雪梅，著名翻译，从事翻译十余年，曾翻译过《瓦尔登湖》《遇见一篇好散文》《邂逅一首浪漫诗》《智慧书》《你一定要结识的名人》等多部作品，主编作品有《美丽英文》等。
