newstage,theodysyyears,whichmanynowconsidertobeanunavoidable

stageinreachingadulthood.

5Peoplewhowerebornpriortothe60sor70sinthelastcenturytended

toframetheirconceptofadulthoodbaduponachievingcertain

accomplishments:movingawayfromhome,becomingfinanciallyindependent,

findingtherightspouandstartingafamily.Butthatemphasisonstabilitydid

notremainstatic.Today,youngpeopleareunlikelytodothesame.Duringthe

odysyyears,ahighproportionofyoungpeoplearedelayingmarriage,child
