摘要

随着经济全球化的快速发展，我国同世界各国在经济、政治、文化、法律等诸方面进行更频

繁更深入的交流合作，涉外事务不断增多。但是我国法律翻译的研究工作总体上仍然落后于

西方发达国家，所以法律翻译理论及具体运用的深化与完善，是当代法律翻译研究者的首要

任务。

本文作者尝试用功能对等理论去探究法律英语词汇的特点，感受法律英语翻译的严谨性和专

业性。这里，本文关注了功能对等理论，它们分别是：形式对等、动态对等、功能对等。通

过运用翻译策略并举例分析，从而论证出法律英语词汇的特点：规范性、专业性、精确性与

模糊性并存、保守性与创新性并存，并详细论述法律英语词汇特点如何体现功能对等理论三

要素的，并应用到法律英语翻译实践。
